GPK {short for German: glass, porcelain and ceramics} was first established in 1987 as a Trading Ltd. based in Bischberg, near Bamberg.

In 1998, GPK was transformed into an International Trading Ltd. whilst simultaneously establishing a second branch office in Switzerland.

Not having a warehouse at its disposal, GPK International specializes primarily in the importing and trading of glass, porcelain, ceramics as well as other related goods, making it to one of Germany's most significant enterprises in its field.

In November 2003, persuading the company's goal of provide its customers with an competitive price-quality ratio, GPK acquired the German based porcelain factory RETSCH ARZBERG GmbH.

In 2004, GPK invested important sums in the establishment of a Shanghai/China office, bridging the gap to manufacturers whilst consequently allowing for an even more comprehensive quality control.

Our customer base all over Europe includes wholesalers, mail-order and furniture stores, various discounters as well as numerous clients in the promotion and advertising industry.
